Panelized Info |
A panelized home is a pre-engineered structure. The theory behind this
type of construction is that as most parts of the building are
pre-built in a controlled environment, the craftspeople will not be
affected by weather, lack of materials at hand, unexpected costs or
other obstacles that arise whenever one is building a house on site. |

A panelized home should not be confused with modular or mobile homes.
Panelization should best be understood as one step above stick
framing. When a contractor is stick framing, he has an assortment of
lifts of wood delivered to the site where he then has the crew take
the studs, cut and assemble them into 'panels' that are then tilted up
into place and fastened down. |

| Panelized home manufacturers pre-build all of the exterior/interior
'panels' in a controlled environment and send them to a site ready to
be assembled. The packages also come complete with floor and roof systems, doors and windows, shingles and siding so that your building
project is raised quickly to the weatherized 'locked up' or 'dried in'
phase. |

| Panelized homes are classified as a stick framed home and can
therefore be built in most of the same locations. |

Insta Builder panels are framed in an enclosed facility to exacting
tolerances using state-of the art technology and top of the line
equipment. The nature of the business requires panelized construction
to be very precise and yield a high quality product. Control measures
in our facility and the need to eliminate problems on the worksite are
what ensure a superior quality product compared to most onsite
stick-built homes. The panels that we build are usually can be lifted easily by crews of 2-3 guys. Panelized construction will cut your labor cost and time almost in half. |

Panelized System Package |
Panelized package includes all of the lumber or metal components, plywood, Vinyl Or Aluminum siding (many types are available), vapor barrier, windows, exterior and interior doors with locksets, floor trusses or joists, roof trusses or rafters, roofing, sub-floor, decking, deck framing, interior and exterior stair materials and joist hangers needed to build the house. The walls are pre-built and we also include delivery to your site and working drawings. |
